About DSNZ
For over 50 years, Direct Selling New Zealand Incorporated (DSNZ) has been the leading voice of the direct selling industry. We represent and support organisations that deliver products and services directly to consumers—building trust, promoting ethical practices, and driving growth in the New Zealand market.
What is Direct Selling?
Direct Selling is a dynamic way of connecting products and services directly with consumers – beyond traditional retail – through trusted Direct Seller Representatives.
Why Choose Direct Selling?
The direct selling channel offers a flexible alternative to traditional employment – perfect for those seeking an opportunity to supplement household income or build a rewarding business. Many individuals go on to create fulfilling businesses by sharing the benefits and opportunities of direct selling with others.
Low Start-Up Costs
Getting started is simple and affordable. In most cases, all that’s needed is a modestly priced presentation kit – no large inventory or significant cash outlay required. This makes direct selling a low-risk option compared to many other business models.
Convenience for Consumers
Customers enjoy personalised service, including product demonstrations, clear explanations of benefits and value, home delivery, and generous satisfaction guarantees. Direct selling combines convenience with confidence.
Our Board of Directors
Direct Selling New Zealand Incorporated is governed by a Board of five directors. The Board meets every two months to review strategic direction, update policies and the Charter, and set both short-term and long-term priorities for the organisation.
Our board members bring a wealth of industry expertise, strategic insight, and innovative thinking. We deeply value their ongoing commitment and support in guiding Direct Selling New Zealand.
All Directors serve on a voluntary basis and receive no financial remuneration for their time and contribution.
